Introduction:
This combined course allows Riggers and Banksmen to work together to develop the knowledge and skills necessary to work safely and efficiently with cranes, rigging and lifting operations in an offshore hoisting environment.
Course Objectives:
This course meets the requirements of:
- CAPP TQ Section 3.2.12: Mandatory Safety Training for All Petroleum Installations; Technical Safety Training; Rigger Training; Banksman Training
- API RP 2D Recommended Practice for Operation and Maintenance of Offshore Cranes
