Production Logging and Reservoir Monitoring Course
Introduction:
This course provides you in-depth instruction on cased hole logging tool physics, interpretation, and quality control techniques applied to wellbore specific production logging and reservoir monitoring scenarios. You will learn how and when to use these tools for your specific logging objectives including applications to three-phase flow measurement. You will also learn quick look techniques for identifying quality control problems with existing logs. Using hands-on examples, you will learn to interpret behind casing resistivity and measuring three-phase flow using production logs.
Course Objectives:
The participant will become familiar with old and new technologies of production logging tools, procedures, and techniques to improve and increase oil, and production. The entire course structure applies proven methodologies and integrated methods approach that allows engineers to make precise decisions on optimizing well flow rates. You will be in a position to analyze and diagnose well problems, including cross flow, leak behind pipe, fluid entrance, others.
Who Should Attend?
Petrophysicists and engineers are responsible for wellbore diagnostics or reservoir monitoring who seek a detailed understanding of cased hole logging tools.
Course Outlines:
- Inflow performance and productivity index for oil wells and gas wells
- Outflow performance: matching inflow with outflow to optimize well productivity
