Introduction:
The approaches used in implementing governance-leadership are important in determining whether the company’s objectives are being met effectively. When the goals of the governance-leadership strategy are reviewed, the company can tell if the objectives are being met. Definite scores, such as one to nine, are assigned to the expected results of governance-leadership initiatives. A low score implies that the effectiveness of governance-leadership is low.
M&E is an approach that has mainly been developed to measure and assess the success and performance of projects, programs, or entire organizations. These two concepts are of core importance while putting together your proposal.
This course on Monitoring and Evaluation for Governance provides a useful basis to develop effective frameworks for monitoring and evaluating the implementation of development plans, budgets, programs, and projects. The course adopts a perspective of using M&E to improve governance and looks at the M&E system too
