Introduction:
This course serves as a integrated module to allow different positions involved with sub-surface exploration and development to understand the overall subsurface exploration and development process. This course will jump-start beginners into practical skills that they would need for their job. It will also help them understand and communicate better to different departmental responsibilities. This will be a good training experience.
Course Objectives:
- To be aware of different mindsets of the different disciplines
- Learn how to overcome mental discipline barriers
- Obtain complete panorama of the O&G industry
- Perform several key evaluation techniques (gradient analysis, DCA, Reservoir Cut-off Determination)
- Plan exploration ventures and the value of information
